Tell me how to set up an asterisk to pick up a telephone line with the help of a dial-up modem. I found on the Internet which modem to approach, I bought it.

I don’t know what model you bought and for how much (I’m not Vanga).
From the budget one, it used to be on ebay - PCI analog modems on a Motorola chip for $ 10-12
, which could be equipped with DAHDI drivers and used as an FXO gateway.
It remains to find a board with PCI connectors :)
