Assigning the same ID from the data-target button?

Is it possible to make one crutch for a modal window (rather than making 10 windows with different IDs) so that when you click on the button that calls the modal window, the window is set to the same ID as the data-target value of the button?
I'm learning PUG, so I admit the possibility that it is possible to do this through it ..
