Assembler WinAPI what to use for graphics output?

What to use which WinAPI functions for rendering 2D Graphics, for example, to build the same Raycast engine that will not lag.

If only WinAPI, then GDI functions. If the level is Raycast, then you will need graphic libraries, such as DirectX or OpenGL.
