ASP.NET or PHP. What to start learning?
I am a 3rd year student. A little less than a year I have been writing desktop programs in C #, mainly for myself, in training mode. During this time I read "Andrew Troelsen. Pro C# 5.0 and the .NET 4.5 Framework", "Richter J. - CLR via C#". Due to the fact that the desktop is not very popular, I decided to delve into one of the industries (Web, WinPhone). The choice fell on the Web, but the number of vacancies is not encouraging, on the same Yandex, when requested, asp displays ~ 56 vacancies php ~ 367 , not to mention the fact that there are very few vacancies for juniors in asp. The question arose, learn asp or switch to php?
PS: I really like c#, but I want to start working.

Choose C#. The language is much more powerful, salaries are on average higher. Plus there is a developed ecosystem with various tools. Knowing one language, you are already a web backend\mobile\desktop developer.
The higher the popularity of a technology, the less valuable are the people who know it.
Better find a job in C#.
As an alternative, I can offer fashionable now JS or Java.
I don't recommend PHP, I can't say anything about ASP.
