Are there viruses on sites with PSD layouts?

I saw two questions on this site on the topic "Where can I find PSD templates for layout", but I'm afraid that there may be viruses. Can anyone explain what is the benefit of these sites (I rarely see ads on such sites) or for what purpose they are created? Also, has anyone downloaded templates from these sites?

1. There are such things as communities, have you heard?! Well, there people share thematic "something".
2. The site has an email subscription - and this is a user database. You can post ads there.
3. Half of these sites are just a layer, you end up on evanto - for a fee
