Are there troops for programmers?

Hello, I recently graduated from high school. I am only 23 and have not yet served, but soon I will have to undergo a medical examination at the military registration and enlistment office, if they take to serve, that is, some troops associated with specialized education?

There are such troops, but the chance to get there is not high. In the army, super-users of photoshop and all sorts of design packages are valued. Such specialists sit at the headquarters and draw all sorts of visual propaganda.
For the development of software in the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation there are special research institutes and to get there for a conscript - the maximum is on duty at the checkpoint.

What an ancient naivete that your education can allow you to make a choice where to serve .....
The choice of where to serve is not yours, but for people who do not care about your education.
My bro jumped with a parachute - I thought they would take them to the landing, yeah - they brought them to the junction box, some major, took them and took them to the desert - long-distance radio communications. :(. Then he asked that major - why he took them - the atot answered in all seriousness - "Yes, I looked - it seems that the faces are not stupid. I decided - pull it" ... and I was not mistaken, it should be noted - they pulled it.

There are scientific companies in the army, but I have never seen them in my life. Before getting into the army (in the unit itself), officers usually come and look at personal files. If you have the right to a car, then they will probably take you as a driver, but if you also drove people, then they will definitely take it. If you know how to communicate with a computer, then either a clerk or a soldier. Disposition one.
