Are there solutions to convert ole requests from microsoft office to open office?

There is some program code that works with microsoft excel files through a COM object. The task was set to switch to the odf format and replace microsoft office with open office. Whether there are what means allowing to "wrap" COM requests to an ex-fur-tree on its open analogue?

As it turned out, there is a solution - unioffice from etersoft . The year of release is a bit alarming - 2009, under windows xp the test case started, but not under vista (maybe it's in the previously installed ms office). LGPL License

Never heard. As I understand it, you want not to touch a working product and organize a layer.
I think that will not work, it is better to look in the direction of minimal code changes.
