Are there server MBs for a pair of i7s on LGA1366?

There is a pair of Intel i7 970 and memory for them. I'm interested in the question - are there any server mothers who will start on these stones in principle? Although the Chinese write that the sevens run on the same Asus Z8NA-D6 or Z8NR-D12
, there is no mention of desktop processors on the site of the asus itself in the performance characteristics of the mothers.
I foresee comments like "server mother - server stones, don't do nonsense", but the thing is that there are stones, as well as the desire to try to build some kind of dual-processor on them. Or did Intel just make the same socket, but not compatible between server processors and their desktop counterparts?
Sometimes I come across articles where xeons are installed on desktop mothers (even without cutting the keys on the socket and installing a sticker on a couple of processor legs) - and everything works marvelously fast. Is this possible in my situation?
Do not judge strictly. Had I known the answer to this question, I would not have asked it.

The main problem is that on desktop i7 there are no additional QPI links necessary for interaction between processors.
Therefore, not every pair of Xeons will work in two-socket motherboards, at least those that have active QPI links are needed. For example, a pair of Xeon W3680s won't start for the same reason as a pair of i7s. They are artificially divided into different markets.
And vice versa, for the sake of PR, there was even a completely desktop motherboard, but still requiring xeon - EVGA Classified SR-2
