Are there SEO problems with .rf domains today?

We registered the .rf domain, which is very beautiful and therefore easily remembered.
The problem arose of what to do with SEO. Register another domain and redirect to it? But it's somehow dumb to see a not so beautiful Latin domain in the url.
I read in articles (already stale) that there are problems with indexing with .rf, are these problems relevant today?
