Are there really adaptive / responsive - up to 4k (wide screens) templates?

For several days I have been digging in search of a real example of a web page layout that competently utilized modern large screens - in particular, 4k. I open sites from the Top 100 and almost tears well up - with six-figure budgets, at best, what can be seen - images stretching to the entire width of the browser and slider galleries :( Text content usually rests on the upper limit of about one and a half thousand pixels, and with a further increase in the width of the window, white stripes appear stupidly on the sides
. screen.No empty/unused fields.It turns out inline.
I want the same - maximally utilizing - use of screen space by any content. It is desirable with the understanding of usability that on a wide screen, readable texts should be shown to the user in the middle, and the “extra” places on the sides should be filled as much as possible with secondary content - an expanded accordion menu, galleries, tags, banners, etc.
Site theme - personal blog/news/portfolio.
The goal is usability. Why force the owner of a 4-k monitor to scroll the site vertically, when all the content can be perfectly scattered over the entire area?
PS: Perhaps I don't understand something in real layout, since such an approach of vaunted adaptability - fitting the site to everything - from smart watches to UltraHD TVs - is rarely encountered in practice.

Perhaps I don’t understand something in real layout, since such an approach of vaunted adaptability - fitting the site to everything - from smart watches to UltraHD TVs - is rarely encountered in practice.

This is business. Nothing personal. Conventionally, if the site has less than 0.5% of users sitting on TVs or watches, then it is cheaper to put a bolt on them than to adapt. Serious companies can pay a UI designer, a UX designer (or even a whole team), a layout designer, buy them several TVs, smart watches, conduct several usability tests, spend a lot of money on all this. And for companies with a small development department, this will result in the annual budget of this department and will not pay off in any way.

well @AnneSmith

because you don’t have to turn your head and squint your eyes, you just look at one point when turning
your option - this is just a usability disaster, even if you don’t understand it

it’s more likely not about the budget, but about profit when spending the budget. It makes sense to spend money on it if it works. The percentage of such screens is still small, and there are no problems with viewing content (unless aesthetic problems are taken into account)
. As for layout, no one bothers you to layout as you want. Even through a regular inline-block you can get what you want

Maybe someday there will be a similar solution. But you can't compare homogeneous content services and classic sites. For example https://www.youtube.com/intl/ru/yt/about/ for 4k. will look empty compared to fullHD. Probably, what you want is not achievable because it will violate the marketing objectives of the project. After all, something is needed from the user, and if he is surrounded by a large amount of secondary content, then the main one will be lost.
So, it seems to me so. If you want a full-width portfolio, then go ahead, if you want a page about the company, then you shouldn’t.

In principle, why they don’t do this in large numbers is understandable. Although some Intels, Microsoft and other Googles with Facebook - IMHO, they can quite afford to spend a pretty penny on layout for very large screens - the percentage is small, but in absolute numbers there should already be decent visitors.
I just want to make a personal website-blog-portfolio for myself, where as a feature I wanted to use such a "4k-ready" design, finished in the future for my own production - I play around with layout little by little. Useful to look for ready-made templates and broke off. You'll have to think for yourself...
