Just out of curiosity. Have any new relational DBMSs entered the market in recent years? I mean not some very highly specialized ones, but popular ones. Direct competitors to PostgreSQL and MySQL. Forks don't count.

Have you mastered the architecture of compilers ?
How are things with cryptography for the humanities ?

generally unlikely to conquer the already divided market of general solutions,
so everyone writes specializations
