Are there Java Developer vacancies in Google Russia?
It is often interesting to “fall through” into the “vacancies” section of leading IT companies and see if there is something for you. - it is very likely that the "Jobs" section of Google does not change and is very stingy compared to the same Yandex, for example. Have there been vacancies in Java at Google? Can anyone have a chat? Or does Java development not belong to the Moscow office of Google (maybe there is such a division within the company?)?

Those products that are made in Google Russia are written mainly in C++ and JavaScript. Interviews test engineering, algorithmic and mathematical skills, and knowledge of a particular language has little effect on the result. Rather, the unwillingness to know any other languages will affect.
Before the interview, I strongly recommend:
1. Study Cormen for at least a month - and these are not big words, the acquaintances who did get there prepared just like that. (http://www.ozon.ru/context/detail/id/2429691/)
2. Collect on the Internet all possible questions on algorithms asked at interviews in different offices (candidates actively publish the questions they were asked, at least on the English-speaking Internet)
Prepare for algorithms and data structures - this is the only thing that plays a role. If you don’t get it the first time, don’t be discouraged, you can try again, people were recruited even on the third attempt

Lucky for those who are lucky.
If you are so confident in your abilities, which I sincerely envy, send your resume to Google. For the demand, it seems to me, they do not take money.
As far as I know, Google does not have development in Russia, only recruiting, branding and other management. More likely to get into some Google Ireland
in general, I saw a vacancy in Software Engineer a few months ago, where knowledge of c ++ or java was indicated in the requirements, now I don’t see it anymore
