The frontend in the project was closely connected with the backend. For CI we used maven. We thought about separating the frontend and backend (choose Singe Page Application) and use tools that are more suitable for the frontend. Question - what?
The core team has a small front-end background (mostly Java). To support and develop the frontend, we assembled a separate team of guys who are not familiar with the current tools.
