Are there courses on the Internet after which you really get a job?

Hello, on the Internet I met a lot of courses like skill-branch.ru , https://geekbrains.ru , www.getjavajob.com , javarush.ru and others, are there any worthwhile ones among them, after which it will really be arranged somewhere even as a junior? Has anyone taken any of these courses or any others? I started to study Java on my own, but progress is slow, I don’t understand in which direction they are moving at all.

Doesn't exist, more practice is needed.

You probably chose Java, because they write on the Internet. that they make a lot of money on it? If yes, chill. Learn php / ruby / python and javascript and you can earn good money anywhere in the world, as long as there is an Internet connection. I made my choice on php, now I am actively implementing and studying the symfony framework, which allows you to write clean and flexible code in the OOP paradigm, although they write that it is better to learn a more serious, preferably strongly typed language instead of php - maybe it is so, but only in part.
Java is a very specific language, in order to get into it and make good money, you need, in addition to a well-learned theory and understanding of OOP, several months, or better, years of teamwork, preferably under the guidance of more experienced programmers. This is about Java EE. There is practically no remote work on it, because. projects are serious (banks and others) and no one is going to associate their business with freelancers, plus it is more difficult to manage a remote team, and again, these are risks for business. About mobile Java, in particular, android, I don’t know what to say, it’s probably not for everyone, there probably isn’t much remote work either.
The easiest to learn on your own is, of course, js or php, since it is easy to deploy the execution environment and the result of the code is immediately visible, plus a lot of videos on YouTube, plus a bunch of ready-made libraries and frameworks. And the most important thing in these languages is that you can join a team via the Internet and not look for a job as a programmer in an office where there is none, as is often the case in many cities

Employment does not depend on courses.
It depends on your skills, just the presence of the correct logic, the speed of mastering new things and desires. Well, and also on what kind of performer the employer is looking for.
There are employment courses. Going to a course solely for the sake of getting a job is pretty stupid.
Option: get a job with low knowledge requirements, do your job and at the same time deal with more complex real-world problems. And knowledge will be and already at least some kind of salary.

Java Philosophy by Bruce Eckel, a very good book on Java, The best option is to learn from books, and these courses do not promise employment (There was a video on YouTube), but the fact that it is difficult for you and something is not clear is normal.

Self-study is always slower than courses. If it is not possible to go to full-time courses or for free, for the sake of experience, get a job in an office, the most optimal:
Java philosophy - with all the exercises
. If there is money, then javarush for mechanical syntax memorization + for a superficial acquaintance with the technology stack.
If not, then come up with your own project and improve, improve it.

Eh, I don’t know if they consider this to be advertising or not. Now I am taking courses with Pyotr Arsentiev. I won't list the site, google it yourself. It also ran for a long time. Between Get Java Job and this. I will say right away that these two courses are already for people with a good Java Core. The assignments are not easy. But if you practice 3-4 hours a day, then you can figure it out. Good luck with your study.

I studied these courses with good knowledge. The course consists of 3 stages Syntax (you solve problems from Zlatopolsky's textbook), Algo (here is the maximum that you learn, these are data structures and generics, algorithms are not normally given), Web (here you study multithreading and write your social network).
Now, in fact, the Syntax step only makes sense for those who don't know Java. But without knowledge of Java, there is nothing to do in this course from GetJavaJob, because no one will explain anything to you . You just lose 2-4 months by solving problems for 2nd year students.
The Algo stage gives knowledge of scrap collections. You will write your ArrayList, LinkedList, HashMap and trees with your own hands, including KCHB. That's all there is to it, but you will lose another 3-4 months here and all your questions will be answered by the same students as yourself. After this stage, you go to the exam, you are rummaged through the file on Google and you make edits there, you will spend 4-5 hours on passing. After that, your answers will be checked in a couple of days and be sure that Vitaly will leave you a list of comments that you will need to correct. Corrections are accepted again in 3 days, and there will be comments again. Approximately for delivery you spend from 2 weeks to a month. Those. In fact, you give 10k for passing the exam. By the way, the time of the course will be deliberately delayed so that you do not finish it faster, although according to the offer you give the rest after "employment" (more on that later). Plus, in Algo you solve puzzles with sql-ex. In this regard, I also have a vision of the stupidity of this approach. SQL is needed, but not in the form in which it is given.
So, now to the cost. The course costs 120,000 rubles, and you pay 10,000 rubles a month. For the first 2 stages, you will give more than half, or close to it, and you will gain no knowledge, for 60k you have Java Collections and generics, and at the same time, the students of the course help you, there will be no help from the mentor. Help will come if the question hangs for a couple of days, but you are sent just to google. Those. again, time stretches and everything else you are taught by the same students as you.
On the web, you will have weekly Zoom meetings on Sundays at 11 am, but only after the 13th lesson) You study multithreading again in the same mode. Well, then the Web. you learn it from the very bottom and primitives of Java, then gradually move on to actual implementations. For example JDBC->JPA->Hibernate
And all this within the framework of one "project" (you write your own social network)
Spring, which is given to you - the most banal.
And now to the most pleasant and long-awaited part of this review. This course is stupid, there are a lot of other interesting and worthwhile implementations on the market, with a convenient interface and adequate support, where you will have weekly meetings AND and an adequate guide to tasks.
If you do not fit into the year of study, be prepared to shell out another 10,000 rubles every month, and if you don’t like it, then your access will be closed and you will go outside)
In fact, this course promises you "employment", keep in mind that you will go to the market to look for a job yourself and if you do not find it, then the same graduates of this course will send your resume to the "Bring a Friend" programs, i.e. Vitaly keeps a special group for graduates and asks to send out your resume, again, graduates help you, and not the one who holds the course. If you carefully look at the site, it is not up-to-date, the site was no longer maintained normally in the 16th year.
Well, the cherry on the cake, you learn from records and articles from the Internet, if it suits you - to give money for the course and receive information from the Internet - this course suits you.
My verdict - they will extort money from you
