Are there any problems in sharing different memory modules with one Spare Part (HPE)?
Became the owner of the HPE ProLiant DL20 Gen9 server.
According to the technical documentation, I selected memory modules recommended by Hewlett Packard. All have the same Spare Part and Part Number, but one of the four modules is based on SEC chips (Samsung), and the other three are SK / Hynix.
However, the question arose: are there any problems in using them together, or, following the documentation, HPE guarantees that I can safely use them without fear for the reliability of their work in any combination?
Of course, for a home computer and a laptop, I had to install and use different modules both in terms of frequencies and timings, but simple hardware is one thing, and a server is another.
