Are there any libraries for looking up URLs in free text?

Good afternoon.
Interested in URL search in arbitrary text. In Google I come across only offers to use regular expressions. Of the interesting things, a library from LinkedIn was found, but judging by the github, it has not been supported for a long time. Are there any other efficient solutions available?
