Are there any errors in the circuit diagram (Arduino, voltage regulator, motor)?
I'm just learning the basics of electronics, so please take a look at a simple circuit and point out any mistakes.
The bottom line is that there is a pump that is powered by 6-12V, and an Arduino-like controller that needs exactly 5V.
They have a common power source, let there be a 7.2V battery.
Power is supplied to the pump directly from the power source, and to the Arduino through a linear voltage regulator.
The Arduino uses a transistor to control the pump.
Actually, the scheme:
* "Motor out Terminal" this is the output to the pump

What is the current limiting R1 and R2 for? Field devices are controlled by voltage, not current. No current flows through the gate. You can put a resistor between the drain and the motor to limit the load current.
It is also necessary not to forget to combine the land (you have different lands on the diagram).
