Are there analogues for NMU?

Hello.
I really like the approach of the Independent University: to gather interested people and teach mathematics almost on a voluntary basis. It turns out a certain community of people involved in the process, which makes it much more interesting to deal with complex mathematical disciplines. However, the input level is also very high. Are there any simpler analogues of NMU? Maybe some summer student schools? I am primarily interested in mathematics (applied) and a cycle of subjects from IT.
