Are the services safe for realtime applications?

The other day I tried to create a mini realtime application using one video tutorial.
It used the resource pusher.com.
But the question arose - how safe is it to pass data through this service? The data is more for internal corporate use. Or am I worrying about it for nothing?
Is it possible (difficult) to make such an application without third-party services?
The essence is simple: I enter data under my account - roughly speaking, I give an order. In the window of the performer, this instruction is instantly displayed, a notification arrives.

At the expense of the service - it is worth reading the user agreement. At the expense of your application - google for realtime js
