Are the requirements for analytical thinking the same in all development technologies?

Our prof has always said: there is no area of development that is easier than another. Everywhere brains have to strain the same way.
Is it so?
For example, there is an opinion that the front-end is easier in complexity than other IT technologies, and even a humanitarian will do. And neural networks are generally hardcore and without an appropriate level of intelligence there is not a foot there.
Only I'm not talking about the threshold of entry. And considering the level of a specialist in a particular technology, at least above average.
What do you think?

1. Don't trust anyone.
2. Brains are stressed differently for everyone.
3. Usually they evaluate the average statistical indicators for general types of tasks (taking into account the "experience time" in this area), although it is necessary to evaluate the specifics of the task, the time and quality of its execution by an individual, and most importantly: without taking into account his experience !
That is, you should always look not at courses / certificates, length of service, etc., but at how exactly he performed the specific work given to him .
