Are the lessons in Start Android 2011 relevant now?

startandroid.ru/ru/uroki/vse-uroki-spiskom.html
Here the introduction and other lessons were made already in 2011. The most recent lesson in 2016. Are they relevant now? Is it worth it for a newbie to watch now? And are there other options?

Relevant, the logic has not changed, especially since people write there that they periodically update the information! Another good teacher .

Some lessons are still relevant, others are not. For example, there are quite a few lessons on the topic of ListView, although it has been almost completely replaced by the more efficient and flexible RecyclerView. Design elements are also outdated, modern applications are repelled by Material Design guidelines . Camera tutorials use deprecated API.
