Are online courses useful?

I’ll say right away that by getting to a good mentor you can awaken knowledge, but how things really are.
From personal observations, I found that within the same office some courses, for example, in webdev are not bad enough, but in mobdev they are terrible or vice versa,
which office would you recommend or a mentor, are you interested in java / kotlin / android dev?
And in general, will a cool developer who receives over 200k rubles teach or can you also earn money in the training business?

If you are lazy, then the courses will not help you in any way, they will not force you in any way.
But in general, the benefit of the courses is that they will give at least some systematized knowledge.
It is not a fact that you can approach systematically.
Whether these will be courses of a good level or there is almost the same as you, who learned them yesterday, you will not be able to find out. You will be able to evaluate the courses only a few years later, when you yourself gain experience.
Conclusion: There are
benefits from the courses.
But not at all as significant as described in the advertisements for these courses.
Consider insignificant.
But good.
1) Listen to what great athletes have to say. They often thank their coach. Could the coach set that record? Of course not. The teacher himself is not necessarily super-special. But this does not mean at all that he will not be able to prepare a super-specialist. Or that the athlete will become a champion without this coach. Successful coaches are very snappy.
2) Super-developers can also teach. It's not about the money. Good developers spend little time teaching. After the main work, what remains. Look at Maslow's (Maslov's) pyramid. 200k is not a cool developer, but an average one. Well, billionaires Elon Musk and Bill Gates also give lectures to students. Are you seriously suggesting that someone can offer them significant amounts for billionaires for their teaching?

I will tell you a secret, Online courses are self-learning for money, in my opinion (experience) of what I download and go through. = maybe someone has a different opinion on this matter.
But there is actually a sense, the courses have a structure, (it's easier to just take the topics of the modules and do it yourself)
Many are not worth their money at all. Especially in an era when you can download (find) a bunch of material for free,

Of course, there is a sense if they are sold (but this is not accurate)
