First, do not confuse the environment and the programming language. Lazarus is a development environment. It contains Free Pascal.
Delphi is based on Object Pascal. But now he is far away from it. The modern environment for it is RAD Studio (now 10.4).
Learn Delphi better with the free RAD Studio Community Edition.
