Are JSPs still relevant in Spring MVC projects?

Hello everyone

Now I'm looking at bourgeois tutorials on Spring MVC, in old videos (3-4 years old) people use JSP to render static and dynamic data, and in the latest one there was information that JSPs are no longer relevant.

Question? Relevant or not? If not, what is used?

To each his own, no one forbids using JSP / JSPX, but the Spring developers recommend using something more modern, like Apache FreeMarker or Thymeleaf .
