Are GET parameters taken into account by search engines?

The cities in the directory change with the change of the city_id GET parameter
Naturally, the content, meta tags, and meta:og tags also change.
But does the search engine take this into account?
Or is it necessary that the CNC be configured - / moscow / ?

Not required, but highly recommended.
Conceptually, GET parameters are either filters or search terms. And if there are keywords in the uri, then this, in theory, should increase the relevance of the page.
