Applied python tasks?
Hello! I started learning Python a couple of months ago. I get high from him, I'm looking for a distance learning in this language, as a full-time student in a distant, forgotten land. I studied Django, wrote a website for my school, though they didn’t want to pay for hosting, so it’s still lying around somewhere on my github.
I understand that for practical experience, you need to hard-code. But tasks of an abstract nature, the application of which in real practice I do not see in any way, and in everyday work do not help in any way. Yes, many advised looking for a startup, and I even found it. There was a mega-ambitious task, but very soon people ran away from there, I didn’t understand why, so everything burned out. I haven’t been able to find remote access for a month and a half, so I need to brighten up the gray everyday life (and I myself burn with desire) with a code.
I came up with a couple of applied tasks for myself, they really came in handy. But due to the lack of real experience, I don’t know what I can implement in this language specifically for myself. If someone has a list of some applied tasks, or a link to such resources, I will be very grateful.

The task is to make a site for the exchange of applied tasks for Python.
You can also look at freelance exchanges what customers want.
Have you already read Al Sweigart's book Automating Routine Tasks with Python, didn't you find it useful?
prospero78su, what is the problem with python for industrial automation tasks and the like? I have been working in this area for a long time, I became interested in python, your recommendation alerted me. Is it worth spending time and effort on further study? Why is it worse than C++, which is used to write software for PLCs. Of course, ST, FBD and LD for PLCs are the fastest, but there are things that cannot be implemented in these languages.
prospero78su is somehow completely unfounded and without specifics. Sounds like stuffing and not good advice.
Python is used by many companies everywhere, from Google to Eve-online game code. Some mass media, like the Washington Post or Instagram, are written down in django + wonderful libraries in python for various occasions (cut down an asynchronous server before data analysis).
