Applications for Rust?
Hello hi hello, I recently read an article about using Rust on the web, and the question arose - what else is written in it? I heard that in Linux it began to replace C, others predict a replacement for C ++. Which of the application areas is most popular with Rust'amans and how does it manifest itself in game development?

The first part of the question ("Which of the areas of application is most popular among Rust'amans ...?") has already been raised here in various forms ntsat times, so it's better to immediately look at the answers to other questions, kmk:
- What is Rust relevant now?
Is Rust another c/c++ killer?
- What tasks are solved in Rust, and which ones in Golang?
- Isn't it too early to learn Rust?
And if we talk about the gaming industry, then the status is something like this:
- There are several game studios (and near-game companies) that are carefully trying to use Rust at home in different volumes - embark.rs , www.readyatdawn.com , https://www.elektron .se , https://www.dungeonfog.com, etc. - but it’s just wildly boasting here until I would say that there is something.
- There is a fairly large community of rusty hobby game makers ( https://arewegameyet.rs , https://rust-gamedev.github.io ) - but there are no mature engines and big releases either.
So there seems to be some noticeable movement and prospects, but so far there is absolutely no certainty that it will take off.

In short, everything that requires high efficiency, from microcontrollers to all sorts of highly loaded network services.
For example Log Collector , fast and easy search index , all sorts of kernel modules for linux, system utilities like grep
