Apple iOS Background Refresh is stupid or is it the norm?
Hello everyone,
Since I switched from Nexus 5 to apple, one thing has been terribly infuriating, namely, an incomprehensible background refresh of applications.
Specifically, I mean applications - calendar, Skype, todoist.
On Android, as soon as I created a task in todoist or a new event through the computer, it instantly came to my phone. If I deleted or closed it, it also instantly disappeared, including widgets.
On an apple, this does not happen until you open the application or it happens very rarely.
those. I have Badge Icon enabled for Skype for example and yes, the number in this icon increases periodically when someone writes. But it doesn’t decrease at all, even though I already watched this conversation on the desktop.
The same thing with the calendar, I have already deleted the meeting via the computer, but it still hangs on the phone and until I open the calendar so that the refresh apparently goes through, it will be so.
It's all terribly annoying.
Does someone know how to fix this? (Not returning to android :))
PS. The Background Refresh setting is naturally enabled for all applications.

This is a matter of supporting this feature in applications, or more precisely, developers would like to take this into account and spend a lot of time on it. But there is such a thing, for example, Telegram works like this in the background
