Another wifi module does not work on the laptop, the native one is normal, what could be the reason?
Hi all.
Another wifi module does not work on the laptop, the native one is normal.
The reason why I want to plug in another one is a problem with bluetooth, or rather, after connecting the headphones and a short pause (5-10 minutes), the sound stutters, reconnecting the headphones helps. On other laptops there is no such problem, nor is there a problem with usb-bluetooth modules.
So, if I stick another wifi module, and I tried 10 of them, they are not detected at all in the system, it's not about firewood.
Maybe something that is sewn into the motherboard? Laptop Vaio-SVE1511V1R

It's in the whitelist. The BIOS has a list of modules that can be plugged in. You need to either take a module from this list, or patch the BIOS.
This is a vendor lock. Any module will work if there is no artificial limitation.
