Angular + Laravel. How to store files?

I followed the instructions that are indicated here https://laravel-angular.io/
But where to put the angular files, I do not quite understand that there was a connection with api routes from laravel. And that everything was right.
I want single page apication which will access api (laravel)

To read what SPA is and how it is "prepared" - this is for starters.
If you still do it with laravel (using laravel-mix), then in resources/assets, all the rules will be in webpack.mix.js)
