Android studio, error while downloading repository from github?

When downloading a repository from github, an error is written Plugin with id 'com.android.application' not found., if you delete the line apply plugin: 'com.android.application' in gradle, then a new error is written Plugin with id 'kotlin-android' not found., and so on until I remove everything from gradle altogether...
