Take HTC Desire S, you can't go wrong, the processor is more powerful than Wildfire's and the screen too.

Google Nexus One, although older than Wildfire S, has more powerful hardware.

and also as an option for Huawei U8800, there is no official 2.3 for it yet, but they promised to release it in the fall. The hardware is no worse than the same designer, but the price is delicious

I would take Galaxy S:
Samsung GT-i9000 Galaxy S - 12500 rubles.
Samsung Galaxy S scLCD I9003 — 11000 r.
And it's better to wait a couple of weeks, the Galaxy S Plus should appear (the main difference is the 4 'screen). Maybe you can hit 15k.

HTC Desire Z without an official warranty can be found for 13 thousand. Keyboard, screen, memory, everyone is happy.

HTC Desire, according to the Yandex market, the average price is 15300 rubles. The only drawback is an inferior multi-touch (in fact, it does not exist). Or as a variant of the Nexus One - identical in characteristics (slightly less RAM), but better in terms of firmware (it always comes out faster after all, after all, a Google phone).
I think it's perfect for the price point.

You can take a used Desire for 8-10 pieces and upgrade Android to 2.3. They write that the firmware is already available.

HTC Desire. I myself have such a device, there are no complaints about the work. But, Android 2.2 is really worth it. The smartphone itself is very smart, so far it has never failed.

With such a budget, of course, Nexus S. An argument in favor of Google's smart: There is the most stable and fresh Android. The rest of the manufacturers sin with firmware bugs and their slow release.

And why is Desire unequivocally not considered? Norm apparatus. Android 2.3.3 off.firmware got up perfectly.

Why not order something (Desire S / HD (for an amateur) or galaxy) from a clov/handtech? Or is this option not being considered?

An excellent phone, and even with a keyboard! Everything works, nothing slows down. Recently updated to 2.3

At the risk of sounding like an idiot, I don't drag in droid phones, but maybe a Motorola Defy? I recently moved to one myself, I'm happy with everything. Two more employees have such - no one complains.
ZY: I will be grateful if someone writes in the comments why it is worse than those offered, it’s curious ...

Motorola droid 2 global. If ebay is new with shipping, keep within 350-400 dollars
