Android Internet via 3G / EDGE / GPRS does not turn on?
The situation is this:
- there is a connected Internet from MTS-Ukraine.
- I turn it off so that the traffic does not eat
- after a while I try to turn it on again - but it does not connect.
I tried the program - "APN + Data switch" - turns off normally, but does not turn it on.
I searched for a solution to the problem in Google - without result.
It connects again after such gestures:
switching to the “On the plane” mode, then back and then I turn on the Internet and it works.
Maybe the problem is in the operator? Has anyone run into this problem or am I the only one?

I have a similar situation.
What else is noticed: the Edge / Hspda icon is shown, but the data is not coming, while the icon itself and the signal strength icon are white. If you perform the manipulation "on the plane" - "not on the plane", then the icons turn green, and the data is moving. Manipulating data transfer on and off does not solve the problem.
The phone is exactly the same lg optimus one p500, android 2.3.3 native + root + a2sd patch.
It's really about the firmware, tk. on the last 2.3.2 (if I don’t confuse anything), there was no such bug. As well as the color gradation of the signal level icon (gray / white / green).
This model has native fast on/off DATA. In the top sliding panel, the rightmost item. Unless of course you have native firmware. She has always worked for me. With some programs for on / off DATA, there really were glitches.
have you tried turning it off and on? :)
Seriously, with another phone, such an operation restored the efficiency of the ZHPRS.
I came across this only on custom firmware. On the stock 2.2 there were no problems
2.3 off still did not set (hence the modem is old)
Try to change the device with a fullwipe.
My friend and I have sabzhe LG P500.
From a friend with stock firmware 2.3 I heard about a similar glitch, 1v1.
I have never seen this on my mik'Cyanogenmod7, except that the browser sometimes hung from the mass click =) The
modem, by the way, is sewn on cyanogen7 (although it is 2.3.x), on native 2.3-firmware there is a new revision of the radio module software.
