Android: how to remove WiFi?
Firework!
Android 4.2.2 (HTC One X+, Android Revolution HD 8.0)
There is one in the list of networks that I no longer need.
When you press Forget on it, WiFi starts turning on / off several times, after which, when on, it joins any available network. Most often to the same unnecessary.
I tried to remove the entry about it from /data/misc/wifi/wpa_supplicant.conf (or delete it completely), but this does not help - apparently, the file is automatic, and the entry about the unnecessary network is restored in it.
How do I force Android to remove an unwanted Wi-Fi password? What file should I edit / delete so that the password to the network I don't need disappears?

Try turning off auto-connect to Wi-Fi, then connect to the one you want and it will only connect with it. Well, I think it is impossible to remove completely from the list so that it never appears. So what if you accidentally forget your network? Need a way out to recover...
