Android - How to catch an error?

Hello. In the application settings there is such a button "Clear all data". If I press it during debugging, then it throws it out of debugging mode, and the application does not start after clearing the data (it freezes on the first splash screen). Question: how can I catch the error (understand the reason why it doesn’t start) if after clearing the data from the debug mode it throws?

Delete the application and save it not usually (Ctrl + R), but immediately with debugging (Ctrl + D)
