Android - Google Drive API - real life example?

Hello,
I tried a lot (step by step), I can't connect to my public folder.
1. Skinte please the link to really working example.
2. And what is still not clear to me is it possible to connect to the disk only with the help of OAuth or also with the help of the Public key?
I did everything as in the example - it does not work.

"GoogleApiClient.OnConnectionFailedListener" fires after connection
3. Why is there neither authorization nor public key in the example - how does it work?

it says in the readme:
"If you actually want to run this sample app (though it is mostly provided so you can read the code), you will need to register an OAuth 2.0 client for the package com.google.android.gms. drive.sample.demo with your own debug keys and set any resource IDs to those that you have access to.Resource ID definitions are on:
