And how do you normalize fonts in Chrome?

No matter how Chrome is praised, it renders fonts, to put it mildly, terribly.
Here I am laying out a layout with the Montserrat font. I initially set the format to woff2, then woff for IE9.
In Firefox and IE9+ (at least for normal fonts, respect to Melkosoftam) - everything is fine, but in Chrome, at least kill yourself.
If you initially set woff, then the font in Chrome is better, but the line-height does not converge with FF and IE (they are all ok).

And why is https://www.google.com/fonts not an option for you? I did not notice problems with the rendering of their fonts. There is also Montserrat.
and you're done
