Analogues of Russian-language resources in English?

Hello everyone, I was inspired by a recent post about learning English and I want to almost completely go into the bourgeoisie, since you need to know English quite well in a year or two (now I know it at the A1-A2 level).
So, for starters, I want to find analogues of such Russian-language resources as:

  • Habr
  • htmlbook.ru - write all the English-language sites for web developers that you know
  • lenta.ru
  • radio record

+ it would be very interesting to find such a thing that could translate words from a pdf reader by simply selecting them (switching between the reader and the translator is not very convenient)
I would also like to hear tips on learning English, how much time to spend on it, where you can learn English more and how thanks

www.listenlive.eu/uk.html - choose your favorite radio
List of UK online radio stations. Personally, I insist on the UK, because English-speaking French and Chinese will greatly spoil your pronunciation

www.w3schools.com/ will replace htmlbook.ru for you
Even more - in any case, you will go there more than once, because all information about web technologies is stored there

Do you need an analogue of lenta.ru in what way? Is it the same in English or, in principle, world politics/economics in English?

Abbyy Lingvo - translates the selected text if you hold the mouse pointer nearby for a while

On the subject of Habr, read techcrunch.com/ . Blog.techcontracts.com/ is also good - but there is more bias to the right than in IT
