Analog video surveillance in Linux (LXLE) via Chinese USB stick?
There is a USB stick (Easycap Easy Cap USB 4 Channel DVR Video Capture Adapter) for four analog inputs, bought at one time on aliexpress and a computer with LXLE Linux.
Need advice on what programs can be used to enable this USB stick under Linux.
Specifically: the ability to conduct both visual observation and recording.
Under Windows, there is a program that comes with it, but it has very mediocre functionality.

I think that more problems will be with the driver. As a program, you can try VLC player.
VLC, Kaffeine. Both are able to read different sources, and there is a stream recording. It seems possible through mplayer, if memory serves. Find out the names of devices through different channels (if they are really different), and run as many instances of programs as necessary with the necessary parameters. But if the device is defined as one... then I don't know how.
