Amazon cloud for website development and testing?

Greetings!) I plan to develop and launch several small sites! Now very popular clouds. I went to Amazon, they promise a year of free use, but I immediately have to enter my bank card details :) Before I take the risk, I want to ask if it is worth taking the Cloud from Amazon first to develop sites, then launch them and work normally? Approximately how much will such hosting cost for 2-3 sites with attendance of 50 people per day, and during the development of the site (during the testing period)? Or is it expensive?
