All by Wordpress?
Hello, at the moment I am a beginner frontend writing html5 + css3 + js purely from scratch, but there is a problem that I don’t own any CMS, namely I would like to start typesetting under Wordpress, tell smarter and more experienced people in which direction to move? learning php? Or is the wordpress docs enough for that?
I would be grateful for help.

It's a very, very, very bad idea to learn WP, or any other PHP CMS, without learning PHP itself. Be sure to learn PHP in parallel. Otherwise, there will be no understanding of what you are doing!
Learn PHP. For at least a month, write standard bikes in PHP: connecting to a database, logging in and registering, working with HTTP. After a basic understanding of PHP, WP will go like clockwork. The reverse is unlikely to work.
Start doing any project that is personally interesting for you on WP - you will quickly figure it out. I see no point in learning php separately. I still don’t think that I taught him, but the implementation of various tasks made me know) In general, learn through practice!
do google wpkama
see also cms "get simple" - it's simple, on files
if you could sass / less or pag or twig, there are things that allow for the VP to make templates using them.
in general, take the WP theme boilerplate, or for example underscore - everything is obvious and clear what goes where
PHP is a must-learn if you plan to do decent projects on WP!
If you plan to survive on cheap projects, then PHP is not needed at all ...)))
Read the WordPress code, from the good video tutorials on vp, so far I have met this one . I haven't watched the rest yet, but I think this will still be the norm. Regarding php, if you haven’t learned any programming language yet, then you need to learn, if you already know more or less which thread, then just take the first best book on php (currently not one of those for pros), and quickly go through it , that should be enough. And if you find the lessons of A. Sokirka, then I advise you not to waste time, the dude knows WordPress well, but explains it poorly for beginners, besides, in part of his lessons, he simultaneously uses his Alethemes framework, which is nothing for a beginner.
