After the Java update, Chrome and some other programs disappeared, why?
Windows XP.
The standard Java offer to update popped up, after which Google Chrome disappeared (the entire Google folder disappeared from Program Files), Team Viewer (also the entire folder) and some other programs. Java has also disappeared from the computer. There is the latest Kaspersky with the latest databases. In Windows logs a) updating Java b) deleting Java. There are many lines in the security logs with failed access to Windows system files. It doesn't look like a virus at all.
Question - has anyone encountered this Java Update behavior?
