Advanced chat project (github) starts with errors?

I did everything according to the instructions, but the CSS layout failed + the problem with the socket.io file in the Chrome console. I don't know how to solve the problem.
If you look at the instructions, I replaced it with my IP, but nothing worked!
Also, this error constantly pops up in the terminal:
