Adapted article - how to issue?
By an adapted article, I mean a translated article in the style of a free (not 1: 1) translation, supplemented and adapted specifically for Habr (links to existing materials on the topic, etc.). Suppose that the contribution of new information from the "adapter" in relation to the original is 30% -40%
Question - is such a post better / should it be formatted as a "translation" or as a "post"?

In my opinion, it is better to format it as a “post”, since there are supplements from other sources.
Although I can’t say for sure, I had translations to which they found fault “-that they are not word for word with the original” and there were articles for which they were downvoted, since some of the information was taken from English-language resources.
