am writing a project on ASP.NET Core
This is a thesis, the topic was given by a teacher: Development of a WEB service with activation of offers to the user
with a link to the DNS website
Or product recommendations depending on the user's preferences? How to view what products the client chooses / googles on other sites? How to find out his interest in order to offer your product?

If everyone could find out what products another person is browsing (google) - life would be much more fun. How do you like the idea that your former classmate can easily find out that you googled the Ford Mondeo and went to car dealership websites?
Technically, this tracking is done in general terms as follows: all these sites, such as DNS, are connected to some kind of advertising network (for example, Yandex.Direct). And when a user enters the site, in addition to the page code, the ad network code is loaded into his browser. Which reads and sets the cookie. And then, according to this cookie, it can match: from this computer they went to the DNS site for an iron, to the MVideo site for a TV, to the tour operator's site for a tour to the Dominican Republic, etc. And, accordingly, forms individual advertising offers. Plus, the advertising network is "friends" with the search engine. Accordingly, it can also add to this what search queries the user makes.
If this is what you want, then you will not be able to track the actions of a real user on real sites. Therefore, I would once again clarify with the teacher the statement of the problem - what and how to do it.
