Only the titles of works are posted on the website of the Russian State Library, and in order to read the text, you need to come to Moscow and register with the library. At the same time, it is possible to work with dissertations only from virtual reading rooms (i.e. from the library premises).
A search on the Internet showed that it is possible to view dissertations from home, having the username and password of a registered reader ...
I think that acquaintance with scientific works is a worthy endeavor, and it is not clear why such difficulties should be created (even if formally justified by compliance with the Civil Code).

Moreover, a certain number of licenses for the university. because The dissertation access program must be installed and activated. In addition, accounts are bound to an IP/subnet by default. Therefore, there was a big problem with the transition to another provider. This is not so simple.

True, with the help of a couple of tricks, it was possible to save the dissertation and read it at home.

There are two main ways to read a dissertation or abstract from the database of the Russian State Library:
1. Come to a library or university
In more than 120 cities in Russia and neighboring countries, and in each city there are several places where you can come and read dissertations or abstracts for free . Such places are called "Virtual Reading Rooms" - a room with computers that have access to the Digital Library of Dissertations. You can not download, you can only read on the spot, but you can print several sheets (no more than 10% of the work).

2. Draw up an agreement to read dissertations and abstracts via the Internet
The Russian State Library (RSL) offers the opportunity to read dissertations remotely. To do this, you need to conclude a contract, a period of 1 year, the cost of 3000 rubles.
