Of course, we will take it off the air and change the password, and we will tell the new one to all the other presenters. But if there are 2-3 such applicants per week? Change passwords every time? There is no desire neither for me nor for the presenters.
In this regard, the question is the following:
Is it possible to install a plug-in into the icecast2 system that increases the number of source passwords so that when the host is received, he will be given his personal password?

In order to implement such functionality, it is necessary to build icecast from source, with the addition of an authentication plugin .
Sorry, I didn't do the assembly, so I can't reveal the details. Perhaps if someone builds it for themselves on the newest version of IceCast, please share the source code.
