About the intricacies of migrating to Hetzner?
I wanted to transfer a number of organization sites from the master host to a dedicated server, which Hetzner chose as the server.
Since the load is small (according to the statistics collected by Piwik, it turns out a little more than 15K uniques per month, from 60K views per month as well), I think that the minimum EX4
tariff will suffice. There
are questions:
does it make sense to raise a virtual server and make several virtual machines? so far, apart from hosting and a mail server, nothing is planned, but you may want to.
2. If you install a VM, then what to come to, it is desirable that there is no need to contact LARA. Judging by the discussions and Hetzner's wiki, you can stop at Proxmox VE
3. The posted manuals are a little outdated. and it’s not entirely clear to me whether additional IP addresses will be needed, or if we can limit ourselves to the internal subnet and forward the necessary ports.
I would be grateful for links to the manual for setting up virtual machines
4. How to transfer and where domains and what difficulties may arise?

I do not advise moving to Hetzner. We have dev machines on it - periodic problems with visibility (dns), inappropriate hardware level, support is slow. Rackspace, Linode - check out these options. They are not insanely cheap like the Hetzner, but the cost is justified.
I used their VDS for an online store, with growth it was no longer enough - they moved to a dedicated server. On the third point - add. addresses will be - for a fee, as before they no longer give for free - even one additional one. No serious problems have been noticed with Hetzner, about works, etc. warn at www.hetzner-status.de/en.html.
Went to Hetzner a year ago. I did not notice any problems with support (there is a Russian support ) at all.
On the 4th point - you can read the answers here . I'm leaning towards godaddy.
