About 15 years ago, how did people ddos servers cs 1.6?

I remembered when I was small, playing cs 1.6, sometimes people came in and demanded the admin panel, otherwise the server would be broken, and when they were not given the admin panel, after 5 minutes either the server lagged or disconnected the players, as they did before? I wonder how they came to this, there was really no information anywhere, the Internet was just appearing.

Any DDOS is a regular operation that does not remove the ability of the server (or channel) to process requests (or packets). To put down the server, it is enough to arrange a poll for it beyond its capabilities. Performing multiple connections-disconnections and other blocking of the queue. In any case, this has not been solved from one machine for a long time. A major DDOS attack always involves hundreds of machines, and some involve millions of machines. Go to Wikipedia and read about DDOS.
No one will tell you how this is implemented here, because. this is against the rules of the resource.
