Abnormal loads on VPS?

I bought a server from firstvds, chose the maximum OpenVZ tariff with 4GB of RAM.
I installed fail2ban and
added several domains with a total traffic of about 200 people a day.
but I'm amazed at how quickly the memory fills up at the server, during the day.
The screenshot shows how slowly and steadily the amount of memory used is increasing, there are as many as 4Gb! The previous server had 1024 and was enough. What could be the problem?
Is DDOS possible?
the screenshot shows the moment when the memory is completely full, rebooted and everything seems to be normal, but it rises again ...

See server logs. Since it's OpenVZ, it's possible to oversell and you don't get a fair 4GB of memory.

firstvds? maximum rate? isn't it funny?
Read reviews before purchasing!
I advise digitalocean.com well, or www.clodo.ru
I myself use the max tariff on the ocean, half a year ago I bought grab.by/BKOO It will suit you and $ 5 well, on the edge of $ 10
How to install
servdev.ru/article/digitalocean-ustanovka-linux -ng...

From the specified data it is not clear who eats memory. Look at the moment of loading the output of top/htop.

You see how much memory is occupied on the server, it is quite possible that it is simply reserved and not really busy, most likely this counter is just a curve, this is normal with vz.
